We’re in a new landscape when it comes to developing leaders. Now that there are different options available, our clients are moving firmly towards a virtual model.
What’s your preference?
At first, clients wanted to wait until they could bring leaders together for a shared experience in the same room. Then, sometimes reluctantly, they decided not to wait and we built a virtual solution.
So we learned, together, how to make the virtual experience as dynamic, effective and inspiring as the classroom. It worked.
The advantages became clear pretty quickly – mainly in terms of cost (travel, accommodation etc) and also in time. Virtual solutions can be bite-sized, easier to fit into the working schedule and different time zones.
We back ours up with coaching. Each module is designed to stimulate fresh thinking and generate action – then, each participant works with a coach to develop the learning and make it personal.
This opens up the option to offer our HR Leader programme as an ‘open’ programme, working and sharing with leaders from a range of organisations.
Back in my own corporate life, I would have loved that support, learning and interaction.
Would you go for that?
