Sylvain has over 20 years of experience in Human Resources with a particular focus on learning and leadership development. He spent 15 years with General Electric where he led their Corporate University globally, with a globally distributed team of 200+ offering programs in over 50 countries. In his most recent role Sylvain led the group wide Board initiative “New Work Model” at Allianz, with the aim to profoundly change how people work and collaborate. Sylvain has lived and worked in 6 countries and is a Senior Advisor at the Columbia Business School in New York. Sylvain has a keen interest in understanding how organizations, leaders and culture need to be reinvented to meet the challenges of tomorrow. He has written many contributions on this subject, including one of the most read McKinsey Quarterly Insight articles.
