Jo is a highly experienced and commercially minded HR leader, with over 25 years working in and alongside HR teams across many industries including drinks, financial services, telecommunications, professional services, and the not-for-profit sector. She has a strong track record of partnering with HR leaders and their teams to build internal capability, lift commercial acumen, and increase their strategic impact.
As a former leader of multiple HR functions, Jo brings deep insight into what enables HR teams to thrive. She is known for her ability to simplify complexity, build trust quickly, and lead capability uplift initiatives that create lasting value. She enables HR teams to operate as credible, commercially aligned business partners through targeted coaching, practical tools, and team development.
Jo also partners with clients to co-design people strategy and business-aligned solutions in organisational change, strategic workforce planning and culture-shaping initiatives that help HR functions to move from reactive support to trusted, high-impact business partners.
In her corporate life Jo has held senior roles at organisations including Cbus, Medibank, Telstra, NAB and Ernst & Young, and Jo has consulted with a range of organisations across FMCG, government, professional services, and not-for-profit sectors, delivering projects focused on HR capability uplift, leadership development, strategic alignment, and workforce planning.
Jo holds a BA in Psychology, a Graduate Diploma in HR/IR, and is a certified Gallup Strengths Coach.
