People data is linked with great partnering
As you may know, the core of what we do is building great partnering between HR and the business. People data is at the heart of that.
Right from the start, co-founder George Naylor and I have understood the importance of research and high quality data that delivers real insight. Fortunately, George is a wizard with people analytics and surveying and so we’ve always been able to design a tech/online response to respond to any challenge.
George’s favourite expression has long been ‘let’s ask them’ – a great example was when a bank wanted to know what trust meant to their employees. He turned that survey around in a day so that we could use the data to design a leadership conference.
On the other hand, he also builds a comprehensive surveying platform for clients for continuous listening – with large-scale engagement surveys, pulse surveys, exit interviews etc. so that real-time data flows in constantly.
He integrates data from various discrete HR systems into one place, too, and creates dynamic strategic dashboards.
The crunch point in all of this is how the data is used. That’s the link with great partnering.
You’ll already know how powerful the right graphs can be when you’re making a business case to business leaders. It can be hard for HR to explain the rationale for good talent investments – or, indeed, for a change in leaders’ or managers’ behaviour. George relishes that challenge.
Get the right data in the right structure and presented well, related to business goals and measures, and it’s amazing what senior leaders will say yes to.
If your data is all over the place, get in touch and George will happily show you what it can look like and deliver.
