We don’t need to over-complicate how we organise HR. Let’s build on what works.
There are indeed some issues that have emerged. For example, some Centres of Expertise have become rather distant from the front line and developed interventions that may be intellectually elegant but don’t land well. Some HRBPs feel closer – and are more loyal – to their client groups than to their own function.
The answer to these issues isn’t to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
