How courageous are you feeling about AI as a HR Leader?
‘AI adoption is 10% technology challenge, 90% human capability challenge.’
Jess Larsen has travelled this journey. She’s a former HR leader with 3+ years AI transformation experience and founded Thriving Humans to help organisations to bridge the gap between tech implementation and people impact.
I’ve already learned a lot from Jess, and also from HR leaders who are in different places along this journey – about where they want to be, and where they actually are. Often, they’re feeling on the back foot – under-resourced but eager to grasp the future.
AI is proving to be the greatest test yet for HR’s strategic influence. There’s so much to learn and the pace is so fast. It’s like learning to drive on a motorway, being overtaken on both sides.
Actually, a motorway isn’t a good analogy. A motorway is on a map, you know where you’re going and the route to get there.
AI adoption is most often being led by the CTO, and the route is complex, not linear. Success is about human capabilities – learning, changing, resilience – and understanding how to support humans and redesign work.
HR has to push into the strategic conversations. Strategic partnering is at the core of what we do at Enable-HR. Contact us to explore what you’d like to achieve and to be included in a strategic discussion that we’re putting together.
