Spending time outside HR

I spend time with people outside HR to find out what's really going on in the organisation

HR must do this proactively and routinely, rather than only when there’s an issue. This is key to being invited to contribute at the right time; so that you and your stakeholders know when your input is appropriate and has value. It provides ongoing research and relationship-building, as well as being seen to be interested, engaged and speaking the right language. Use your stakeholder map to prioritise where you can spend your time most purposefully.

We researched what businesses want from HR and distilled this into the activities and behaviours that drive successful relationships and results. Enable-HR provides a framework to understand and evaluate how HR operates, and then to align, develop and inspire HR people.
