We explored earlier in this section keeping all stakeholders in mind, and here we test to what extent – or how often – you feel you actually balance their needs. You may have some stakeholders who are more demanding, while others seem more easily satisfied. It is in the interests of the organisation as a whole to ensure that balance is achieved between all those stakeholders who are involved in any project or decision. Your stakeholder map will help you to scope out the different interests for any particular activity. As an additional step, you can list them, and work out their respective needs and measures – how they will decide whether their needs have been met. You can also ask them.
