Stakeholders expect HR to be up-to-date with external data as well as internal analytics. Get to know your sector and competitors; be ready to show that you understand the context and market. Use that to make your HR data relevant and meaningful. Your stakeholders will want you to make clear connections, e.g. cause and effect, and always link HR data to business data.
