Here we look at what you actually achieve. Let’s look at past evidence. What opportunities have you created to improve HR’s services, relationships or reputation? What would you like to open up for debate, and challenge, but haven’t managed to? Decide what you would like to improve, and plan every aspect of the people involved, the political landscape, the systems and processes that need to be taken into account. On the other hand, it may be something completely within your own control, such as your own activities or behaviours, such as improving a relationship that could enable you to be more productive. Where you have done this, make sure you and HR get the credit.
