Enhancing HR leadership capabilities

‘Enhancing HR leadership capabilities’

was recognised as a priority in the Mercer CHRO Report 2024.

One survey respondent’s views reflected what we hear from our clients “we are currently a reactive team that solves problems through pragmatism, rather than a proactive team that predicts and plans for the future in a way that avoids issues.”

That’s familiar. It can hard to shift the function when you’re so busy.

Mercer identifies the top strategic priority: ‘To ensure HR plays a pivotal role in driving organizational strategy, CHROs must invest in developing HR professionals who possess the vision, agility and business acumen to navigate an everchanging landscape.’  That, of course, includes HR leaders.

Many CHROs are looking for a new, more flexible and proactive way of operating. In our experience, you don’t need a restructure. You ‘just’ need to get your team

  • aligned with business priorities
  • working together as One HR Team
  • clear about how they add value to the organisation.

In our work with clients, we partner with the HR leader to achieve just that. Contact me and, if you qualify, I’ll invest in running a taster workshop for your HR team to get them energised and inspired to work as a united team.
