Do you want HR to be known for the value you add?
If your HR team isn’t valued for its impact right now, then it’s hard to get into the strategic discussions where HR’s input is vital.
HR isn’t typically a function that likes to blow its own trumpet – but this has to change. The CPO has to muscle in to the critical conversations. They earn this by making the value of HR’s work, influence and contribution absolutely obvious.
Making explicit links between HR’s work and business outcomes is now much easier, and essential.
The successful formula for this is a mix of business understanding, powerful analytics, stakeholder savvy and influencing skills.
If this resonates, you might like to catch the recording of my recent webinar ‘How to present HR’s value to the business‘. It’s full of practical tools, and uses a six-step process that delivers a business-led HR strategy as well as tips for storytelling and building a business case for the work HR needs to do.
I’ll be running a follow-up to this webinar shortly, watch this space.
