How to position HR as a strategic partner through influence

A practical and interactive workshop to build stronger connections, credibility, and partnership with business stakeholders.

Do you want to get into a more strategic position in your relationships with key business stakeholders?

This workshop gives you a 5-step roadmap to achieve that. We’ll start with the bigger picture – it’s vital to understand your business context and what drives success in your organisation, and we’ll share how to build your business acumen.

In practice, changing the way you operate with stakeholders happens conversation by conversation, and so we’ll then look at how to elevate individual relationships.  We’ll provide tools and techniques for that and enable you to relate them to your own context with some prework and a workbook.

When you put business acumen and HR advocacy together, you have a winning formula to make explicit links between HR’s work and business results.  When you can do this as a united HR team, you can leverage HR’s impact even more.

As a result, you will achieve a lasting shift in your stakeholder relationships that will enable you to build greater influence and deliver more impact in your HR work.

This webinar is for HR leaders, HRBPs and all HR professionals who have business stakeholders.

  1. How to become more business savvy and credible with business leaders, and use business language rather than HR speak
  2. How to shift relationships with business leaders – change HR’s narrative, and HR’s conversations
  3. How to advocate more effectively for the HR priorities that are critical success factors for business
  4. How to build your reputation and influence as a partner in business success
  5. How to get your HR team lined up behind business priorities.

Please note: We will ask you to do some prework (30-60 minutes) in advance of the workshop so that you can make the most of your time.
