Confidence is critical to HR, and yet it’s tough to maintain when the function is under-resourced and undermined – which, sadly, happens a lot.
I’m sure you’ll have noticed the excellent work of Dr Felicity Baker and Dr Jo Burrell on this topic, and and we’ve also done our own research which I’ll share.
Confidence in HR isn’t ‘just’ a nice-to-have, as we show in this gif. There’s a whole chicken-and-egg thing going on here.
We’ve researched what organisations need from HR, and therefore how to build the capabilities of HR people to move into a more strategic space and get the credit and respect that they deserve.
